How winners are chosen

Every challenge crowns two winners, judged completely independently of each other:

Category 1

Community Choice

Decided purely by how many likes your submission's video gets on YouTube. No admin discretion — most likes wins, full stop. Every submission is published to our YouTube channel, under a public playlist named for the challenge, where anyone can watch and like it.

Category 2

Judges' Choice

Our team scores every submission from 0–10 on four equally-weighted criteria, for a total out of 40:

Image/video quality
Duration adherence
Story
Theme accuracy

Highest total score wins. Scores are published once judging closes, so results are never a black box.
